Considering a QCD?

If you’re 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is one of the simplest and most tax-efficient ways to give.

A QCD allows you to transfer funds directly from your IRA to a qualified nonprofit like the Fresno Aquarium. Because the donation goes straight from your IRA to the charity:

• It can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)
• It is not included in your taxable income
• It may help lower your overall tax burden
