The very first building your generous support is constructing is the

Fresno Aquarium Aquaculture Building

It will be located on our 10-acre campus along Highway 99 at the northern entrance to Fresno overlooking the San Joaquin River.

Fresno Aquarium Aquaculture Building

The facility will be a fun, interactive experience you'll love visiting with family and friends even as we continue to build the Phase One Aquarium expansion areas above it.

Our Aquaculture building will contain numerous freshwater and saltwater aquariums for fish, plants and invertebrates -  allowing us to greatly expand our current popular educational outreach programs in classrooms throughout California's San Joaquin Valley.

As an Aquarium by aquarists for aquarists, we'll be creating exciting habitats inside the Aquaculture Building where aquatic animals will thrive in spacious, naturalistic aquariums throughout their entire life cycles. As they naturally reproduce, they’ll be reducing the need for wild collection and will position us to become a source of fish, corals, numerous invertebrates and aquatic plants for other Aquariums, Zoos and professional partners.

You'll be able to visit many of the animals that will live onsite in beautiful re-creations of their natural ecosystems - enhancing our educational mission To Elevate Public Consciousness and Understanding of our Aquatic World.

Your monetary gift today will benefit our entire region long into the future by building this new, state-of-the-art home for all the fascinating sea stars, hermit crabs, anemones, California native fish and many other species.

Your generous support makes this all possible and also builds the foundation for Fresno Aquarium initiatives for years to come.

Naming rights are currently $1 million for the Fresno Aquarium Aquaculture Building.
