ACE Mentor Program Engages Students
November 27, 2012 - Today, Aquarius Aquarium Institute founders Tom and Aletha Lang visited Edison High School students in west Fresno to answer questions regarding the students' design for the Fresno Aquarium.
The students are working to develop their own version of the project with the ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) program administered through the Central Valley Builders Exchange.
Working with professional mentors from the trades, students have an opportunity to see what its like to act in a design/build capacity and create their own vision for the Fresno Aquarium.
Students from Edison. Clovis, Liberty and Kerman High Schools will present their formal proposals to Aquarius Aquarium Institute representatives in the spring of 2013. Watch this website for further details. Who knows? Maybe a student idea will end up in the future Fresno Aquarium...
